    Prescott is jabbing ineffectually on the outside, for lack of any ideas what else to do. Farmer is chiseling with the quick right jab and setting up big lefts to head and body from mid-range, bullying his way in and then shrugging free of Prescott's octopus act. Farmer switches to orthodox and controls Prescott just as easily with a left jab. Farmer knocks Prescott down with an overhand right but clocks him again on his way down. The ref deems the knockdown as counting (base 10-8 to Farmer) but deducts a point for what he considers an unsportsmanlike hit on a downed boxer (making it 9-8 Farmer). Prescott is giving recovery time and milks every second, casting nervous glances over to his corner. A full 2 minutes' delay. Time in. A minute left. Farmer jumps on him and starts to bang with big lefts, straight and looping, hopping side to side, zigzagging in bouncing off the ball of each foot to generate momentum, keeping Prescott trapped on the ropes. BIG left hands by Farmer, just missing as he goes a bit wild and Prescott ducks in attempting to snatch him.
