Barrera is trained by Abel Sanchez? I wonder how Duva and Kov feel about it.

Why is this subordinate to Campa vs. Herrera?

This is a 12-rounder and eliminator for a world title. Campa vs. Herrera is a 10-rounder of no particular significance, and while unbeaten, Campa isn't even some big name prospect. (in fact I'd say Barrera is a lot more widely known)

    Round 1

Barrera is snapping the jab into Murat's face in singles and doubles. Murat is tying up a lot and working free hands on the body. Barrera is circling and ducking the right hand, coming up with a counter 1-2.

    10-9 Barrera

    Round 2

Barrera is engaging in some rough stuff with Murat, grabbing and shaking each other. Barrera is out-jabbing Murat and gliding smoothly around him. Murat tries pressing in with a right hand on the body and eats several jabs. Murat finally manages to force an exchange and clips Barrera with a left hook but takes a combination in return.

    10-9 Barrera

    20-18 Barrera

Barrera is getting hit way too much and that's NOT a good thing.....since he's a Cuban:!:

    Round 3

Barrera is starting to land the 1-2 with regularity, exploiting his big reach advantage. Murat is lost on the outside. Barrera is throwing long hooks and just nicking Murat with them, but more importantly blinding him to Barrera's right hand. Murat is staggered a few times. Clinch. Barrera taps his spine with the right hand, unseen by the ref standing behind him. Murat ducks a left hook and is clobbered atop the head by a Barrera right. More clinching. Murat inches his way in and stands off as Barrera misses a jab past the face. BIG KNOCKDOWN AT THE BELL, right uppercut on the stomach and left hook up top! Murat given a short count before returning to his stool.

    10-8 Barrera

    40-35 Barrera

Speaking of Cuban fighters. Undefeated 19-0(18KOs) Cuban Yunier Dorticos is facing Fulgencio Zuniga tonight. What a disgraceful match up Dorticus is a huge punching CW and Zuniga is a 27-11-1 blown up SMW and shot to bits. He's 2-6 in his last 8 and has been stopped in his last 2. He's taken a lot of punishment throughout his career too :-(
