These rounds are flying by. Very fast paced and competitive fight, even if Linares is carrying most of these rounds.

 

Lederman has it 88-83 Linares, giving Gesta the 9th, as did I.

 

Linares really pressing for a knockout. He's looking dazzling most of the time, landing his most solid stuff of the fight, but he wound up and missed badly with a few. Another Linares round for me.

 

Gesta is fairly tough, but he lacks the skill set of linares and doesnt have enough power for it to be the equaliser.

 

He has like B+ power, which is more than enough to put Linares in a bad way if he gets careless (as his past history demonstrates)

Linares is too good at this point to be an easy opponent for anybody. Hes proven Hes world class.

 

Really? I don't think we're quite there yet. Not that I expect Gesta to skirt his fate here, the outcome seems a little inevitable, but still.

A massively different Gesta to the one who spent 11 rounds looking at the big screen Vs Vazquez

 

If not for his couple of slip-ups versus lesser foes setting him back and stunting his momentum at critical times, he would've been consistently p4p ranked for the last several consecutive years.

 

Ohhhh please, spare me. He barely scraped by Luke Campbell in his last and he went life and death with Kevin Mitchell less than 3 years ago.

He has no shot in Hell against Loma or Mikey.
