One of those huge right hands Lucas landed earlier knocked Kiram out but the A side meth had tricked Kiram's brain into believing that it hadn't so he was able to remain upright and continue fighting like nothing had happened. However, as soon as the effects of it wore off his brain was able to register the signal and he went down like a sack of potatoes.

I mean, you could probably do that (make a selectively edited GIF that makes it appear somebody flopped back for no reason after not getting hit) for lots of kayos where the kayoed opponent had been winding up a punch before & finishes landing it after they've been struck.

    Yes.

It wasn't even all that delayed, what transpires in the GIF is a fraction of a second. At normal speed his delay in reaction to Matthysse's jab was maybe a second, which is hardly abnormal. He was already winding up the clubbing right and the flowing adrenaline made him continue the motion even as his brain was processing having been struck on the button.

It was interesting that Kiram was the one who actually landed the last punch of the bout, which looked to be a pretty decent punch that just kind of bounced off Lucas, then Kiram just went down on the delayed reaction and since it all happened so fast it was just assumed by the commentators that he must have been hit a follow up punch but the slow-mo replays told the true story.
