HBO: Lucas Martín Matthysse vs. Tewa Kiram & Jorge Linares vs. Mercito Gesta RBR.

Gesta is fast, and was really asserting himself in the first. Linares prefers a conventional boxer in front of him, and Gesta instead distrupted him. Could be more interesting than we thought.

Linares got into a decent groove during the final minute of the second, and drove home a couple of nice right hand leads to take the frame.

 

Linares more comfortable in the second, found his range. Landing well-timed, sharp rights, while evading most of Gesta's attack. I gave the first to Gesta, second def to Linares, he should be controlling this now.

Linares is winning this, but when he looks to leap in with rights Gesta a couple times was able to touch him with right hooks, could be dangerous.
