I don't think Linares beats Mikey Garcia. I think he gets knocked out.

 

Exactly try telling that to the Wilder haters. Lucky shots just happen, the ability to recover sometimes can mean more then the knockdown itself.

 

Linares seems very comfortable in there, even when Gesta cuts loose with some aggressive moments throwing flashy combos on the front-foot. Kid has Freddie Roach's imprint all over him. Linares just too good at deflecting, countering, and rolling with punches. Very sharp tonight. Won the fourth clearly on accuracy, Gesta slightly more active with surprisingly equal hand-speed.

 

Lol at Linares corner... "**** him up.. come up, **** him up, throw the straight right."

Lateral movement isn't Linares' game so much, especially recently, but when he has used his legs he's really left Gesta dumfounded and landed easily. 3-1 Linares. Don't think my under 9.5 rounds is hitting.

Looking very, very competitive...WTF?

 

Gesta getting his head snapped back like a PEZ dispenser. Dude has shown a good chin though.

 

Lucas has way more tats than I remember him having.
