HBO making more legendary nights

All of these are too recent and the caliber of the fighters not worth the time. C'mon...you all want one with Margarito? Give me Tyson vs Holyfield, Toney vs McCallum trilogy, andvaMorales vs Barrera.

Anyway, I called you ****** and dense, not EVERYBODY. And I call em like I see em. I don't get why you and SJSR are freaking out over my saying I think there would be better fights to showcase the Legendary Nights on over Cotto vs. Margarito. And I'm not even against it, I just think they're better choices, as I have even suggested. Are you under the impression I think it was some bad, meaningless fight or something? Is that why you are up at arms over what I said?

It was a very entertaining fight. That's a given. But being entertaining isn't the only criteria.

 

This is great news...'Legendary Nights' is some of my favorite television, ever. Gatti-Ward and Pac-JMM are givens, pretty much. Many have mentioned Hopkins-Trinidad...that's a good one. Many people forget it took place almost immediately after 9-11. Jones-Tarver? Not so sure about that one, for some reason. Maybe.

 

Jones vs. Ruiz would fit the bill.

 

I didn't freak out, I simply disagreed with you. And I did it without resorting to namecalling (unless you count that tongue in cheek bit in all caps).

And while we're still on the subject, I don't think there are many better choices... There are a few... but not many.

(You do still seem kind of excited when replying to my posts... I dunno if it's just because you type out your rants and don't read it before hitting the post button or what...)

I don't know. I try not to act like I can tell how another poster is feeling, or is mad. IMHO, that's pretty lame and pointless. But a **** load sure try that on this site. If you want to think i'm RANTING, that's definitely your perogative.

 

I see...why would they want to showcase the first fight in what, 100 years, where a former MW titlist moved up successfuly to eventually capture a HW belt? Anyone can do that.

I got them off of ebay. Just pretty much tapes copied onto a dvd, but all 12 on 1 disc, decent menu. Def worth the buy
