he drew alot not because of marquez because people wanted to see if he has what it takes to beat pac and wanted to see him in action after 2 yr layoff jmm being a common opponent for pac and pbf now gives a good indication to fans as to how that potential fight may pan out. bottom line like it or not floyd is a draw here in the uk atleast after taking out hatton he has won alot of fans over

Well the haters are very vocal accusing floyd is not a draw as well as everything else. But in reality Floyd have been a household name since Gatti, and any hardcore boxing fan will tune in no matter who he fights.

Here is a question was the six or seven dollar movie ticket counted as one PPV purchase? if so then its not a true 1 million PPV buys.

Let's be serious here. How would you be able to count MOVIE tickets as ppv buys? The numbers come from cable providers.

    I expected the following:

    1. A mismatch fight - I'm correct here (this is most important and what matters most)
    2. Fight will not sell out - I'm correct here
    3. PPV around 500k to 600k - I'M DEAD WRONG HERE

2 corrects out of 3 is not bad after all...

Yeah I was involved in many arguments regarding this Floyd-JMM joke tuneup, mismatch fight coz I expected the following:

    1. A mismatch fight - I'm correct here (this is most important and what matters most)
    2. Fight will not sell out - I'm correct here
    3. PPV around 500k to 600k - I'M DEAD WRONG HERE

2 corrects out of 3 is not bad after all...

IMO at least I have some valid points and not the clown you're trying to label me...;)

You said the fight would struggle to sell at all.

You said the PPV would one of the worst in history and would bomb horribly.

No, the theaters are completely different.

The theaters in total were 70-80% filled in capacity. Way way more than expected.
