Schaefer predicted one million buys on that financial show he was on with Mark Taffet of HBO PPV. I thought he was setting himself up for disappointment, but looks like he was dead on.

I bet UFC won't try to compete with boxing again ... this is the 3rd 1m buy card in the last 3 yrs ... Mayweather had his hand in all of them ... I also believe that the fight sold more than that worldwide ... UFC only has 1 card that has done 1m and non of the other cards have come remotely close ... and I feel that now that matchmakers in at HBO are getting it right ... and the PPV star is back ... i'm sure we will not see MMA coming close to boxing as far as sales again.

WOW 1 million buys for a fight deemed a mismatch.

I would dread to think what he can do with someone like Pac and Mosley.

Mayweather is the draw. There is no longer any argument. This is FACT

Well i'll tell you sure as **** now i never thought this fight whould do anywhere near a Million Buy's and i for one am stunned at the numbers, after this there is no dout in my mind now that Mayweather after his fights with Hatton and De La Hoya which both posted buys over 2 Million across the board ( In Hatton fight taking into account the massive PPV buys in the U.K ) has crossed over to being the main PPV draw in boxing and any fight with Pac,Cotto,Mosley can only do far bigger numbers in my eye's

Well Done Floyd you've finally arrived at the big time in terms of being the main money man in Boxing from here on out the sky's the limit

I just seen an interview with Oscar DLH and the interviewer hint towards Mayweather fighting Berto for the WBC strap? ...

That's really good considering soooo many said they weren't going to buy the fight.

To me this does not signify a downward trend. Wait until the Cotto/Pac PPV numbers come out. I believe these numbers will be very high.
