I'm utterly shocked at the results. I guess this does prove that PBF is a money maker in his own rights.

I know its important to sell PPV for boxing, but Floyd gave most of the fight fans who tuned in another boring fight. Most fans are casual fans,
and tune in to see a KO. They dont appreciate the sweet science like
most of us on this site. Point being, he should have put his foot on the gas and created some fireworks because most thought the fight was boring and mismatched. I hope that many tune in for Pac/Cotto. This
is the fight most people should tune in and see. FIREWORKS!!

No doubt. You were really low balling this fight brah. lol I figured it would do 650 to 675 at best but 1 Mill is big! Floyd is definitley still a major draw in this sport without a doubt.

I said it before the fight. If the fight did exceptionally well, it's because Mexicans, Hispanics and Mexican Americans are the biggest buyers of Boxing PPV.

Still depends on how heavily Pac/Cotto is promoted. Of course, a 24/7 is always a good start. There probably won't be any WWE presence since neither fighter has connections with the WWE other than Pac/various wrestlers that accompanied him to the ring like Undertaker and Batista.

why PBF taking all the credit here??? I think its because of the mexicans...They move it a week after mexican independence day for a reason(not the rib inury bs)..during weigh-in, 80% were mexicans, at the fight 80% were mexicans...

The sad thing is, some boxing "fans" were hoping it would fail. The good thing is, the ones who are happy to see the fight hit one million, will also support Cotto/Pac instead of making threads saying not to buy it, and other such nonsense.

There really is no further point in trying to explain to someone like you. You just won't ever get it. More Mexicans? Yes, there were more Mexicans there, except a hell of a lot more showed because of Floyd, even when they don't like him.

I did too! But it just proves Floyd is a good promoter...or self promoter. ANyone who says Floyd isn't good for boxing hasn't got a clue.
