Not what I expected

 

Smith Jr looks like he has no idea how to set up an attack, almost slapping with the jab, swinging the right hand behind it, it's so telegraphed it's making SB look like a prime Ray Leonard.

Smith Jr has become very very predictable, the same again and again, slapping jab/left hook with an out of range and over reaching right hand.

All SB has to do is keep sticking that jab out and working off it, really simple for him, he just has to be careful and keep switched on because Smith Jr is a desperate man and will keep swinging.

 

So they changed the length of the fight ... in the middle of the fight?

 

That's what happens when punchers meet boxers.

Smith starts out landing a good jab. Barrera counters, but less right hands are landing right now giving Smith a chance. Barrera lands a nice right hand. Not a 12 round fight for some reason. Smith needed those last 2 rounds. Main Events, terrible promoter.
