Ten-round fight for any belt is ridiculous. I'll go back and look ... did the ring announcer say it was 10 rounds? Or 12? If it had changed, why didn't they make him correct it?

I agree. He is to easy to hit.

 

Smith has a bit of potential with his power and size. It's damn shame he couldn't get with better people. His heart seems a bit lacking though too from what I saw tonight. Someone with that type of mindset likely would never leave their trainer.

The lack of effort to me shows a lack of heart. He knew he needs to the KO, he didn't even really try to put himself in positions to land the power shots on Barrera though.

 

That's a lot of speed Corrales has! Handspeed and footspeed. And definitely more defensively attentive than the Gamboa Castellanos beat. 1-0 Corrales. Now I see him winning more easily than I predicted. Castellanos might not win a round.

It shouldn't be legal for a 130 pounder to weigh 147 in the ring. They have to do something about these weight discrepancies.

 

Castellanos is not overmatched.

 

Has Corrales always fought in this style? I like it.

 

Corrales-Loma is the fight I really want to see. Let Tank wait and develop while the big boys settle things.
