He played more of a counter punching role against Uchiyama. Was far more defensive and beat him pretty soundly in the second fight though it was a SD. I dont think he respects Castellanos' power so he's being more aggresive.

Think you are over estimating his skills and giving no credit to Barrera. He was eating punches from Barrerra and had no idea on how to get inside. Barrera tied him up when he did get inside and tore him apart from the distant. He was just outclassed tonight and got beat up for 10 rnds.

At least that is how I see it.
