Judges unanimously gave Ali the last four rounds. I thought the 8th, 9th, and 12th could at least possibly have gone to Cotto, and it only would've taken two of those twelve cards to pull out a draw.

Never sugar coat I agree, the strife and separation is more significant within economic status versus and difference in skin tone... like I mentioned before institutions like the public school system instilled “race” differences for us as kids because prior to that we played GI Joe with green Martians and we could care less what your color was. I digress we should stick to your hate for an awesome dude like Cotto lmao.

Yeah I think Groves is levels above Saunders let alone Eubank. But I won't be shocked if Eubank overwhelms him and gets a stoppage.

You are antonio margarito. The man who crushed, destroyed the hottest young undeafeated champ in boxing with " your clean power ". Then you would feel the need to load your gloves vs a old has been on a losing streak?? Why??? Did he wanted to kill mosley? After those news blew up... how many ko's did he got???? I rest my case

Cotto was feeling Ali's punches. Psychology he was done. His bicep after the 7th sealed the deal for Ali. Cotto was fighting to survive.

My hats of to Cotto. He's been in some entertaining fights. He's definitely a warrior, especially the way he came back after Margarito, and then Pacquiao.

Admirable how he left boxing on his terms and for his family.

    Wish you the best champ!

Yeah not going to lie, that is a pretty strong case. I'm looking for some evidence based argument though. Didn't Cotto pull out the ipad in Marg/Cotto 2 faceoff? Pretty sure he showed some pictures but I wasn't really paying attention.

Agree, and I wasn't one of the more economically privileged kids, so I know that first hand. Race has never been an issue for me personally, its people whining about in 24/7 non stop incessantly that is, same way I feel about right wingers whining about patriotism and religion.

Its such a pity Cotto didn't take another knee, that would have been picture perfect, but unfortunately all of his rat fink fanboys will USE the arm injury as an excuse, which ironically they pretend never seemed to come into play when he was preying on the injured and infirmed. Let them try it, I'll call their out on every occasion.:D

    Let's be real buddy.

If they've had found plaster on his pads he would have first of all been banned for life and secondly legal charges would have been brought against him.

Margarito's style sacrifices longevity. He's been fighting chin first since the age of 15. The Cotto fight was brutal for Cotto, but it also took a hellavu lot out of Tony. The Pacquiao fight was the nail on the coffin.

If you know boxing you know Margarito beat you because he outwilled you. He had a formidable chin in his prime.

In that regard, a fight at 122 between Rey Vargas and Luis Nery would prove extremely interesting.

Watch it again. Watch Margarito try to change the subject time and time again with irrelevant defensive commments and he did not say anything logical or intelligent to deny that fact

Cotto was wearing hot pink trunks. he was asking for it. If I were a judge, I would've given the decision to Ali for that fact alone:jump:

Again... If you destroyed a pound for pound undeafeated fighter with your bare hands, why try to load them for your next fight against an old timer comming of a loss????

I haven't came across someone who used that excuse. Ali was the better fighter even cotto when he was in his prime looked like **** vs malignaggi he sucks vs movers. Ali was at a time a hot prospect who I praised and felt like a fool in the Vargas fight.
