3-1 Martinez. He was even taunting Pavlik a bit in that round. He is really making Pavlik look like an amateur. Martinez boxing and moving effectively and Pavlik looks ordinary. Unless Pavlik lands perfect shot or Martinez runs out of gas Martinez will win by wide unanimous decision probably.

 

3-0-1. Martinez.

I love the way he can throw that jab/hook that slides just over the top of Pavlik's lead hand regardless of where Martinez own feet are positioned.

 

Pavlik looks like an amateur right now. He's out of shape and is just standing around. Maybe Hopkins really did ruin him and take his heart.

 

He always does that when he gets comfortable in a fight.

Pavlik is ignoring every rule of fighting a southpaw. He's not trying to keep his lead foot outside of Martinez' lead, he's not cutting off the ring, he's not doing enough with the right cross or left hook, etc. Pavlik's not throwing enough period, there nothing but jabs and the occasional straight right, but never more than one or two at a time. Martinez keeps clowning him, hit him with a trio of straight lefts that Kelly was wide open for.

I actually believe that the P4P fight the world should be screaming for is...

For me they have the best skills in boxing, with Dirrell and Pac just after.

Why do europeans hate pavlik so much? I don't get it? Do they hate white Americans that can fight? It's bull**** I'm american and I'm a fan of a lot of European fighters.
