stoppage was fine when the ref is seeing if you can continue and you are stumbling back he has the right to call it

The ref could have let Miranda continue, but that doesn't make this a "bad stoppage." Miranda was slow to get up, his eyes were unfocused and he staggered back into the ropes.

Miranda and Zuniga suck though, to put those statistics into any sort of relevance, and Andrade is very crude, and in there first fight arguably knocked him out. Though Bute is a guy who is still improving in every fight and is likely to do so for another year or two i would think.

He looks to have a decent beard anyway, but from a points scoring standpoint he isn't the most illusive fighter, Miranda telegraphs his shots and managed to land a few. The point is though against guys like Dirrell and Ward who are sharp, he is likely to get hit a bit, though his power and offense is a significant equaliser.

    Well, no surprise there..

We all knew that Miranda was nowhere near the top of the 168 division. In 160 he may be top 4 or something, but at 168 there are like 20 better than him.

Probably, and that was exactly what he deserved for being an idiot. He deserved to get his ass beat. One more KD and then stop it. He was up, and yes staggering a bit, but you can't deny that 90 percent of fights would have continued. Gotta give him a chance to keep going even if he really didn't want to. Like I said before, I never want to see that turd again he's an embarrassment to the sport.

Very impressive. I thought Miranda was looking solid but Bute generates alot of power quickly. Miranda has never lost like that and he's faced Abraham, Pavlik and Ward. I still can't say that Bute would win the Super Six but his stock is rising.
