HBO Morons and "The Story of the fight"- Clenelo still lost

Agreed, I have no idea what they were watching. The story of the fight was that GGG jabbed his head off and outlanded him the whole night. But for some reasom they foegot to mention that part of the story.

Usually I'm not that critical of HBO but tonight was the worst commentary I've probably ever heard. Aand I think they had a lot of influence on fan perception of the fight. Maybe they were paid off, I don't know but it's doubtful. But the story thing seemed to stick the whole night. You'd have a clear GGG round and instead of giving props to GGG for winning the round they'd come out with some BS about how Alvarez won the story....

Awful.

 

I think he might be the reason GGG left the ring without an interview. Kellerman was slurping canelo really hard in the post fight and i think GGG had heard enough and just bounced.

 

They were pushing Canelo all fight long.


Lampley was like Adam Smith on Clenbuterol.

 

They saw the 1 or 2 body shots from Canelo.....But missed the dozen or so jabs by GGG.

 

I just asked bout that in another tread. What the fkuc does it mean. Had me confused when golovkin did some good boxing n then they say but canelo is winning the story of the fight.
Canelo did good but the comentary, judges and main promoters (GB) had it all scripted.
GGG had no chance of winning and canelo will never loose unless he's ko'd., which prob won't happen cause he has a great chin n he's a good fighter, no discredit to him.

Fortunately i didnt see the fight on HBO ppv i saw it on PsVue and they had a different broadcast team. ONe of the announcers was pretty biased throughout the fight and for some reason the broadcast seemed pretty biased. When showing highlights between rounds they show Canelo landing some punches if he won the round but when GGG would win a round they wouldnt show his best moment of the round theyd show him hit canelo and then canelo countering lol wtf?!!! It was so weird.

 

Regardless of who you think won the fight, it felt like Jones Jr. and
Kellerman were cheeerleading for Alvarez.

 

I listened to the fight on BBC radio but, along with tens of thousands of other innocent UK boxing fans, I was exposed to significant levels of Kellerman when they cut to his in ring fellating session with Canelo. I don't know what the current broadcasting standards are in the US and I'm no prude but frankly I was shocked to listen to hardcore male on make sexual activity even on the radio when children and Amir Khan could've been listening.

As Kellerman went down on Canelo, time after time, he spouted some kind of nonsense about 'the story of the fight'. Well, whatever fantasy he needs to get himself off I guess I don't care, but was it really right to do this sort of thing in public? What would Mike Pence say about this level of depravity eh? I'm amazed the Marines weren't sent in to MGM grand to arrest him and De La Egg whisk at the same time. America this truly is the end of days.

 

Interestingly on a es video Jones said he had a draw or prob GGG winning. But went on about how he didn't fight Mexican style after he called canelo out for it.

 

It means that whoever you are and however stupid you may have been, as long as Kellerman is making sounds appear from his larynx you are not the stupidest man on earth.

Take comfort in that.

 

Keller man is an insufferable idiot. I wouldn't want to be interviewed by this clown after a fight.

 

Loved how kellerman dismissed GGG combonations and suddenly shouted Canelo with a shot of his own!!!
