This old fool doesn't know what he's watching. Last night was reminiscent of his 'bang, bang, bang' Pacquiao-Clottey performance, going crazy for Golovkin ghost punches when Canelo was actually the one landing the hard shots in those exchanges. Harold needs to go as well, he is completely shot.
I though GGG still won. if you're point is canelo won and won clearly then meh. I never liked Harolds score. and Dan Rafael there used to be photos of him online during fights of him looking down at his phone for the full round and still scores it. so I'd be okay if he went away too
Jim's the only reasonable one they have left.... of course you would find him unreasonable. Max Kellerman at this point is Ear Cancer, he's a flagrant agenda driven SJW and a corporate shill, what an ungodly combination. He's a trendy little douche who wants nothing more than to be seen as the "sweet science" guy, so he falls all over himself going out of his way to be the contrarian, and go with what he perceives as the slick guy, even if they're being beaten from pillar to post. At least Jim let's his passions and emotions guide him more than some cringey image he wants to convey.
LOL, I found this post to be funny. These commentators should play it down the middle and not shill and let both combatants (when it comes to boxing) shine. Max is a boxing hipster, like you just without the SJW. Lampley and Harold are beyond atrocious though and it's time HBO gets rid of them. They are out of touch dinosaurs with boxing fans at best. Max can be told what to do, I don't mind him as much.
That’s why it was good on the radio,Andrade gave very fair scores throughout and Mike Costello gave Canelo two more rounds than Andrade showing how fair and subjective the fight was. If anything though what always bothers me on TV and radio is how they call the fight as if all things are equal so in reality they should say we feel Golovkins seven rounds are in all likelihood worth around five in Vegas, hate it how they always expect a fair decision whilst millions have paid to watch all knowing what’s at stake.
Not even close to a Boxing Hipster, I never smugly beat people over the head with it that I'm more knowledgeable about the lower weight and obscure fighters, I try to be inclusive and not elitist in the least, and I won't reflexively go with the hip choice in the matches or push any hipster narrative.
Cause you have your own hip choices. We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I wouldn't want to be a hipster either though I dig deep into the heavyweight division and know all 5th and 6th choices folks will fall back on once their heroes get knocked out by Wilder or somebody. I wouldn't want to be called a hipster because of that either lol.
Lampley needs to go, but for complete different reasons you are stating. And he needs to take Kellerman with him, with his "Canelo is winning the story of the fight". What kind of drivel is that? I don't effing care who's winning "the story of the fight", all I care about is who's scoring the most points. These pinheads already have a hard enough time keeping track of that, and now they want to bring something completely subjective and non-relevant like "story of the fight" into the equation? WTF??? Clearly overestimating themselves. Keep it simple for your own good lads. First learn how to score a fight. Seems to me like a good place to start. FFS...
Just call the fight objectively! Is that too much to ask for. No need for needless jibber jabber either. Just the pertainant aspects of the fight going on right now.
