From what I understand HBO got over ten million a Mayweather fight in just the US, so I'm sure he had crazy power

You didn't have someone like Haymon controlling a lot of the fighters like he does now though. We won't be seeing many people switch over when GBP and Al are so tight.

Don't know whether to be happy they won't show no more GB/haymon bs mismatched cards or pist off that now you'll get more shitty fights from both TR & GB smh.Just when you thought the state of boxing couldn't get any worse.

He controls too many, if you ask me. I'd like to see Floyd-Trout, Broner-Garcia type fights myself, bro. He gonna match those guys within his stable? :verysad Almost hoping Canelo beats Trout.

Exactly, I would love to see Broner vs Garcia but we already know that aint happening and we know Trout isnt going to get a crack at Floyd especially if he beats the breaks off Canelo

Broner just might stay at welter though with all of the 140 lbers in this super 6 style tourney. No one is there for him. I don't see why he won't after though if they move up or Broner moves down.

Berto was aiming at the Mayweather fight but lost to Ortiz and they are both Haymon fighters.

Can anyone tell us the real numbers Money brings to HBO?Just on a side note we always buy Money fights and I keep HBO for boxing.

Somebody probably knows. The Cotto fight generated $94 million off PPV alone. Floyd reportedly made $45 mil off the fight. How's the rest divided?

It is never good to have networks split but now they will have to be even more competitive between the 2 and competition is always good for the fans.

You guys talking bad about Showtime need to remember they definitely always give us the better fights. I would drop HBO now except Game of Thrones is about to start...

True, but Berto's of the lowest level fighters he's got.

Fighters are going to lose out on big paydays indefinitely because of this whole mess. For fans, you may as well cast your little ATG lists in stone. A lot of these guys have done basically **** ALL, and they are budding 'stars'.

:rofl Berto still had that 0 though. :yep

Seriously, there will never be a top 100 ATG ever again. Sad, sad state.
