Ok so supposing those PPV numbers 300ksomething, then how the hell does Golden Boy make money if they're paying Amir Khan 13 million and god knows whatever amount to Canelo? Where the hell is all this big money coming from? from Golden Boy's private reserves? Oscar's savings account? and how long will that last?

I'm not sure if Oscar has good business acumen or Golden Boy promotions will go under.

Future Canelo/welterweight PPVs will prolly do the same and prolly lose money. Golden Boy can only fork out big money for so long.

    That's just terrible business.

He shoots low to try and get the person who has the real credible numbers to come out and make a statement I would think. He wants someone to refute his numbers. Or he could have other agendas.

    Hhmmm...

This probably explains why the 155lb Canelo Weight issue was dropped.

Also why O$CAR promised to and did call GGG's people last Sunday !!!

:p Canelo alone can't carry a PPV fight, he needs to have a worthy opponent.

:rofl Now O$CAR has to decide whether to accept a "PURSE BID", or have Canelo surrender the belt.

    ;)

When push comes to shove, I'm sure Oscar will throw Canelo to the wolves if it meant protecting his wallet.

If he could do good numbers without a name then why did the Lara fight do so poorly? I mean a lot of people knew that Lara could pose problems because of his style and Floyd beat Canelo. So good fight right? Plus Mexicnas don't care according too Oscar they would pay to watch Canelo workout! If Canelo was such a huge PPV cow that fight should have done more than it did.

De la hoya was hitting those numbers when he first starting fighting on PPV,so did Chavez Sr and so did Mayweather. Not a big deal. Canelo is still raking in more PPVS then 150k everytime.

Literally every fighter is not PPV caliber... So that's all there is to it.
