Good fight if its at 154lbs. Don't want to see a catchweight.

Bit strange HBO turn down Zbik for a light middleweight who has has 1 fight on US tv and stuck the place out. Also its a horrible clash of styles.

No need for figures. The Lee fight makes more money in the US by 10-20% but that was never the point i was arguing.

 

If this is true ill actually be fairly happy about it. Dzinzirck is a very good undefeated champion whos been unable to get big fights. Martinez-Dzinzirck is a competitve fight between two of the best Middleweights/light-middleweights in the world. It would be more competitive than the Lee fight.Most people agree that Lee whos never even been in a twelve rounder is not ready yet for a fight against a fighter like Martinez. He needs a couple more fights aginst top contenders. In a way i was kind of looking forward to a Lee-martinez fight but this could work out best for Lee in the end.

 

Hopefully this will put the Vera fight back on the cards and the Duddy fight too. Disappointment for Lee short term but could well work out for the best. Six months time could see Lee in a better standing and better prepared to take just such a shot.

 

never heard of him, ffs, thought they were looking for a name, have they rejected lee, or has lee decided to make them look elswhere, emanuel steward doesent need to be a great trainer, if his men never push the boat out a bit.:think:good

 

You might not have heard of him but Dzinziruk has a good resume. Hes undefeated and has the wbo light-middleweight belt. Hes beaten Joel Julio, Daniel Santos, Lucas Konecy so hes a great opponent for Martinez

 

Deserves a big payday too after being on the undercard of German bills for so many years
