if you had to choose between the two to have which one would you go with for the better/more fights what would you go with. I'm leaning towards hbo. I'd like to get both but it's an extra 30 a month for both

right now SHOtime with its SuperMiddle tournament is the superior Channel however HBO usually has a better presentation.

maybe I'll just get both of them. I used to be really big into boxing and watched all the fights and just got back into following it seriously a couple months ago and there are alot of good fights coming up that I'd hate to miss

I'd have to lean towards HBO.

Despite Showtime's awsome introduction of the Super Six, HBO still maintains that premier spot when it comes to boxing. They've got all the major attractions (Mayweather, Pacquiao, Mosley etc), and generally are more exciting.

But with that said, I think their recent series of 24/7 is slipping. Showtime's 360 on the other hand, is brilliant! I really enjoyed the latest episode, and can't wait for the next ones.

Maybe its just me, but it seems showtime actually has more boxing on recently. But, other than that I like HBO's people and presentation. Although, I do like Al.

HBO hands down. Other than the SuperSix - you get more fights on HBO.

if you have to choose just one, it has to be HBO. Just a bigger boxing budget, more big cards, plus the HBO PPV replays the following week, in case you can't afford to order.

    HBO does better BIG fights.
Showtime is like the undercard - better exposure of up coming and not quite mainstream fighters.

So you just have to pick which you prefer. I went with HBO because I also like their main programming (Flight of the Conchords, Entourage, The Life and Times of Tim, etc.) than Showtime.

HBO its a no contest although - I imagine they keep kellerman just to be fair to the other networks but for a big fight, jim, manny and larry are the ****

    I agree.

But, Showtime has had more fights on lately, and the Super Six makes it worth it.

Also, I watch a lot of the original series on both channels, so I have both.

    They should bring Deadwood back.

I'd like to see Al Swearengen managing Big Dan Dority towards a Heavyweight title! :yep
