Román is bringing the pressure, jabbing and hooking Salido into the ropes. Very little in return from Salido, just turning out his shoulder toward Román defensively and overlaying his arms down low to protect his belly when Román starts body-hunting. Salido lands a big right hand late and hurts Román, but not enough to steal this one IMO.

That sucks about Farmer.

Nothing against Ogawa and I like an upset, I'm just a fan of Farmer's.

Maybe we can still get that Tank Davis fight, although it went from big showdown to crossroads fight in a damn hurry

Román is still hurt from the end of the first, and wilting as Salido comes on with hooks on the body and looping rights on the head. Salido is catching Román's combos on the elbows, pinning them over his gut. Salido keeping his chin tucked, swooping in behind lead right hands to drive Román back across the ring. Biding his time, Román waits and then comes forward, pressing behind his left forearm turned over to one side, charging and whacking at the body where he can. Back and forth.
