You pay 50 for each ppv? You are a victim of robbery, At most I pitch in 10 bucks for fights I know will deliver. I doubt people like throwing away money like you, you paid for the Hopkins-Dawson fight?

lol @ trying to compare the marketability of JMM who had two close fights with pacquiao and people wanted to see a 3 fight to Ortiz who had 1 impressive win over Berto and when the fight v Floyd was made people said 'total mismatch'.

  3. Looks like Mayweather did not want to release the Ortiz numbers. Probably did 850k like insiders said. You know if that broke 1.2 million it would have been released.
Promoters have to give HBO consent to release HBO PPV numbers.

    1.25 mil buys

Now please remind me when the Pacquiao v Mosley numbers were released?

  5. Right but the article stated that the promoter must give HBO consent to release and Taffer did not get consent to release, so 1.25 million is unofficial.
Appears to me Mayweathers is saving face and this event did the 850 000?

So?, Marquez is still not Ortiz, Marquez is a far bigger name with far more accomplishments and top 5 P4P. The PPV buys with Mayweather easily proved it.

  8. The Mosley ******* was on the SHO network.

This not so cool with me. I like to have the more populaR/Famous ppvs. Both these fighters are extrodinary but need to release real numbers for us fans.

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl stupid *******, he didnt say the figures were pending, he dodged the question completely then later in the interview says:

    "
BoxingInsider: In the last HBO has released the numbers publicly from most if not all events, has this policy changed recently?

Mark Taffet: ”We always release figures with the consent of the promoters. Sometimes the promoters feel that the figures are more for business consumption than for public consumption, and if they feel that way, we abide by that, no problem.”
    "

    Arum aint releasing the figures:deal:deal:deal

compare that to Mayweather who has released his figures:

And Showtime never released the number. Bob Arum did which according to you means he could of been saving face.

Mayweather vs Ortiz= american vs american

Pac - Marquez= both barely speaks english.

  14. yes!! Arum as guilty. So now Mosley fight numbers I cannot accept. Floyd Mayweather Jr/Vic Ortiz I cannot accept. Spent money on both of them and would like real numbers. We should boycott both fighters.
