had to take breakfast and lunch to make it at 145. pac ain't a legit welter... he can still make 135 if he tries.
what was his unofficial weight on fight night? i cant remember but i thought it was in the 150s, i dont know if i buy him waking up at 142 the day before and putting on 8+ lbs, seems like aot of weight for a smaller guy but who knows
Where did you see 150? I thought they kept it a secret like they tend to do nowadays to keep the audience from realizing that the fight often goes to the better cutter.
Yep he could make lightweight anyday plus natural welters cant make lightweight or even light welter ... dont think there was official weight on fight night but Pacs never been higher than 149 on fight night anyways ... amazing how both Pac and May can dominate at this weight class .. well we will see if May can dominate Mosely on may the 1st
i dont remember, i thought they said pacs fight night weight but said clottey refused, ill check my dvr when i get home if no one can confirm, but i though they said 151 or something, or maybe im just nuts haha
Yes it seems like he could be making lower divisions, but I guess he'll stay in 147 because thats the big money division. Plus none of the guys in 147 can trouble him.
:good Now see this argument. Before Floyd failed to make 144 lbs, he was not a natural welter, aint that right? :deal
According to Alex Ariza, he has to push Pacquiao to eat the extra meals and protein powders so he doesn't lose weight, even having protein drinks during the night. If Pacquiao didn't have those meals, he would easily make 135-140 because of his marathon training habits.
Its different between eating 10 burritos a day to even being able to reach 144 and woke up every day and without breakfast scoring 142lb. So Marquez was once in the lifetime WW while PAC is legitimate small WW. What makes me wonder is how much does Paul Williams scores on the daily basis before his breakfast?
if true then i wont be mad if he goes back down to 140 its a bunch of new guys there that wants to fight him
