First fight Kovalev SD win ( I watch it 3 times under different circumstances)
Second fight Kovalev win by DQ

Kovalev is still number 1 fighter P4P

Kovalev looked pretty hurt to the body, he certainly didn't put up much of a fight about the stoppage. He quit we have to say.

 

for what ? 3 low blows ?

 

I really cant see how anyone can say the fight should have been stopped at that point. Kellerman trying to convince him it wasn't a low blow lol. I am all for Ward winning but that was as dodgy as hell.

 

Think Ward would have stopped him without the low blows ?

 

Weird to have his balls right below the navel no? Get real people, Sergei got exposed and krushed tonight. And for someone who constantly harps that Ward is a *****, sure whines as one.

 

Surprise surprise another big fight in America ruined.

Thank god AJ vs Klitschko was fought over here....doubt they would even had made it to the ring in the US before one of them would've been stopped.

Replays just confirmed the low blows......but the stoppage made zero sense anyway, why no count?

 

I'll make a ban bet that doesn't happen. Canelo doesn't have an ugly, mauling style. In fact, his style is made to order for GGG.

Thought Weeks should have given Kov a count when he sat on the ropes. That said, none of those final three body shots looked obviously low, and Kovalev was in a boat load of trouble. Plus, it would have been awfully difficult to overcome a version of Ward who was not only asserting himself more and more, but now had knowledge that he could hurt his opponent badly.

 

Kov should have been given a standing 8 count

 

Dang it another ending to argue about,

Up until the weirdness Ward fought a better fight this time, there's no denying that

I don't need to see another one

 

just saw the replay, it was a low blow that caused him to fold and ref to stop the fight. he was hurt, though. it should have been a 5 minute time to recover instead of a ko.
