stoppage was ass but kovalev was done. Body shots were border line

 

Can't quite get why the ref jumped in so soon. Worse than any "British" stoppage I have seen

 

Lol. It was explained before the fight, Ward hit him on the beltline.

The fight shouldn't have been stopped, and it will be another controversy.

But Ward was winning that fight, Kovalev wobbled pretty bad in that round and just looked gassed. Another ending but same result most likely.

 

The first clear replay shows it was 100% finished with a low blow..

 

I watched the replay. The body punch that started it all was on the beltline which is legal. The head shot was the start of the end. There was a low blow when Kov was hunched over but that's because he was bent over. The ref should have given Kov an 8 count and those could have been avoided. I feel Ward was going to win this by stoppage in the next few rounds.

 

Winners adjust. Losers make excuses.

If their heads clashed, it doesn't automatically mean Ward is at fault. And Kova didn't mention it after.

Kova wanted out and stopped fighting and bent over so the ref obliged him.

 

Man, I just feel sorry for all you decent hard working yanks out there that have to actually buy PPV to see this corrupt garbage.
