You tell me mate. I'm the UK i don't get HBO.

Over here Joe's fights are shown on setanta as per warrens deal with them. Setanta are fairly new and don't have ppv facility.

I imagine it'd easy enough for them to set a ppv channel but they're trying to establish themselves as the "home of boxing". I can't really see them making it ppv to be honest.

Yer all wrong. They were going to have it Wales but there's a rugby tournament going on or something, so they're just having it in the US instead.

JC vs RJJ should have happen years ago....don't mean **** now....just more arrogant backlash from Euro's after Joe wins a slap fest. Sorry just being brutally honest.

I agree it would have meant far more years ago, but it's well documented that Calzaghe was chasing both Jones and Hopkins and neither were interested.

Unfortunately it's the biggest money fight for both Jones and Calzaghe now, and that's why it'll almost certainly happen

this fight would sell much better in the states than calzaghe-hopkins. now, calzaghe's american profile is up and i think rjj did decent numbers with tito so he's still a draw.

roy was at LHW and calzaghe would not go up and chase him. calzaghe is confident in himself and arrogant would be another word and believes himself to be the number 1 so why should he go moving up weight classes looking for fights. he said he wanted a fight and it never happened.

I suppose he's entitled to his mega-payday, which i'm told this fight will be even though I have no desire to see it.

    Calling this one early.

Jones, easy UD or late stoppage...........

Jones won't let JC slap him all night like Hopkins did.

A lot of people say they want fights, it doesn't mean a) they actually do; or b) the other guy was responsible for it not happening. Something tells me that Calzaghe and his people would not want to risk the cash cow 5 or more years ago when rjj was at his peak.

RJJ has not won a meaningful fight for about 5 years. he is shot to pieces and doesn't stand a chance. get off the ****ing train, it crashed years ago.

actually RJJ commented on calzaghe's punching style at the weekend, he said...

“That’s good, that’s how he outpoints,” Jones said. “It’s made him 45 and 0. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
