Surprisingly not a single Mexican on the Kazakh card earlier today (http://boxrec.com/en/event/774741), would have been funny to see them stack the right side of the card with Mexicans...but alas...

Shyngyskhan Tazhibay scored a win over an American on Friday

But I think you're right 2-0 Mehico Vs Kazakhstan

GGG didn't do anything. Canelo beat him and stood in front of him. I will not dispute this.

Same here, Golovkin's worst round since early in the fight, but Canelo's work also was of pretty ragged quality. It was a hard round to score, and it doesn't help that people emotionally invested on either side probably saw things reinforcing their biases (with Canelo supporters letting the display of "heart" get to their heads, while Golovkin backers probably deluded themselves they were seeing defensive wizardry from there guy when really his opponent was just looking rough while setting the pace).

I gave it to Canelo but can see giving it to GGG, which changes my card to 117-111.

Can someone explain to me what Canelo did to earn rounds over GGG's jab?

    GGG outlanded Canelo.
    GGG outjabbed Canelo.
    GGG threw more than Canelo.

"Canelo went to the body better" is great! But a body shot isn't worth double a jab ffs.

Abel taunted him for months saying he would run and would never be the aggressor. Canelo really showed tremendous heart and aggression in there. Shocked everyone with his game plan. What a chin.

Almost as bad as when they robbed Gonzalez of his titles and undefeated record.

You have to score defense, that's 25% of the scoring criteria (I score it closer to 35% myself), you have to score who lands the more telling punches and who dictates the pace of the fight.

Who is taking control of the fight and who is having their games thrown off.

    Ring generalship
    Defense
    Clean punching
    Effective Aggression

Outjabbing, throwing more, landing more are not requirements to scoring fights

Scoring a bout on a landed basis is never right, boxing is scored on a round by round basis. I know I'm simplifying, and that you did too, but overall punch stats have **** all to do with how you score a bout.

Yes and first time round it was said the real dodgy card wasn’t Byrd’s but the one scored a draw.the real losers in this are the fighters imo,I’ve said before that Canelo cops **** because of it which isn’t very fair on a guy who has just performed like that.

Can’t think of any other sport where us fans blindly accept that home venues should mean corrupt scorecards and until the fans stop buying these fights it’s only gonna get worse.
