Yeah that KD was weak. We all know it.

    Jacobs G
    =========================
    Round 1: 10 9
    Round 2: 20 18
    Round 3: 29 28
    Round 4: 37 38
    Round 5: 46 48
    Round 6: 56 57
    Round 7: 66 66
    Round 8: 76 75
    Round 9: 85 85
    Round 10: 95 94
    Round 11: 104 104
    Round 12: 114 113

Round 3 was hard to score. Either could've got that round. 12 needs no explanation. G did good first minute but Jacobs did more as the round went on. I judge by each minute of course keeping scoring criteria in mind and fight flow. When I watched the fight live, I had G originally winning.

Few thought after Looking at it the GGG-Jacobs fight again I still have it 114-113 GGG but may have some rounds moved around from the first time I saw it. Here are the scores: * = could go either way.

    1 G 10-9 *
    2 J 10-9 *
    3 G 10-9
    4 G 10-8
    5 G 10-9
6 J 10-9 - GGG took this round off did not press Jacobs
    7 J 10-9 *
8 G 10-9 - Jacobs look good and flashy but in reality did not hit much clean
9 J 10-9 * - Jacobs won the first 2 minutes but looked like GGG rocked him at the end I can see why people may pick GGG but I gave it to Jacobs
    10 J 10-9 *
    11 J 10-9 * I think Jacobs squeeked it at the end
12 G 10-9 Surprised Jacobs did not go all out, was not as active GGG and GGG hit more shots

    GGG 114 - Jacobs 113

Interesting note 5 of the 6 rounds with the asterick (meaning close rounds can go either way) I gave to Jacobs. Take those away I have GGG ahead 5-1 on the other rounds.

Other note I think Jacobs had a Rocky Balboa moment. GGG could have done more for sure but Jacobs had the adrenaline going and it would have taken a baseball bat to put Jacobs down. He was determined to hear the bell

Triple G won. Seeing the replay he took 4 of the first 5 rounds.

Then round 8 could of gone either way (all 3 judges gave G)

Round 9 G landed the harder more effective and cleaner shots and had Jacobs stunned late.
Again all 3 judges gave G and by this point the fight on the judges card was over.

    Round 10 Jacobs
Round 11- awfully close 50/50 round G did more but in final 5 seconds Jacobs landed best 2 punches of round.
Round 12 I gave G as did one judge again 50/50 round.

Basically you have to give every close round to Jacobs to get him to 7 rounds.

Lot of close rounds this was a close competitive bout. But I think the right man won.

    Round 1 Golovkin 10-9
    Round 2 Golovkin 10-9
    Round 3 Jacobs 10-9
    Round 4 Golovkin 10-8
    Round 5 Golovkin 10-9
    Round 6 Jacobs 10-9
    Round 7 Jacobs 10-9
    Round 8 Golovkin 10-9
    Round 9 Golovkin 10-9
    Round 10 Jacobs 10-09
    Round 11 Jacobs 10-9
    Round 12 Golovkin 10-9

I just rescored it, this time I gave the 12th to GGG.

So the new score is 115-112 Golovkin

Danny fought a tactically brilliant fight, but Golovkin and his very persistent jab (which most seem to want to ignore) edged the majority of the early rounds for him.

Ah...re-scoring it without it being a fuzzy video, I had it 1 round for Golovkin but I felt 1 round to Jacobs was very plausible, too. It was an even fight.

Hilarious thread to look back on. Some truly biased and hate driven score cards here.

Two idiots just above you had it for Jacobs. LOL

My favorites are the ones ones who gave Jacobs 10 rounds. What can one do but laugh?

ALL known to be notorious haters of Golovkin. Quick to claim other people have agendas as well. What a joke.. Had Jacobs winning by a point but there were a lot of swing rounds and obviously the 10-8 for Golovkin. There was no robbery.... Their cards swapped in the place of what the judges had definitely would have been a robbery though!

I have absolutely nothing against Roman Gonzalez, I'm a fan of his, but unlike all of his other fanboys I call it like I see it, Cuadras arguably beat him and Sor Rungvisai did beat him, why is it that being a fan or a hater of a fighter blinds people to reality. I'm a huge GGG fanboy and I originally had the Jacobs match a draw with the KD making the difference, being a GGG fan didn't blind me.
