116-112 or 117-111 are fair scores for Golovkin. As evidenced by the countless media and RBR scores. 9-10 rounds for Jacobs is pure hate. You were called out on that because of your holier than thou attitude. Some of the Golovkin fanboys who make outrageous claims are bad, but the erratic haters of the guy that are rampant on message boards, YTBC aren't any better.

Space out the one idiot. He didn't deserve the win imo, because he certainly missed a he'll of a lot of shots, most likely that you gave him credit for. That said landing mainly Jabs the whole fight while the other guy is countering with power shots and landing clean at that is not enough for me to sway the close round to GGG.. part of scoring criteria is effective aggression, GGG landed some good shots, but most if the time Canelo slipped and weaved those shots... also ring generalship which Canelo dictated as well.

That said if Rumsfeld and drew scored it For GGG That s fine too, but when you start attacking a person for thinking the other guy won the close fight, then it's you who can't accept others opinions on a boxing board full of opinions.. That s your problem not mine.

And Goons are people who are the over the top fans who call him god and say he'd knock out Every MW in time, but if you want to be associated with that term then so be it, but at least know why it was said in the first place. I don't single out all GGG fans as goons either, I've said that many ****ing times on here and frankly I'm ****ing tired of repeating myself too.

 

Canelo showed up in tremendous shape, he was slick and elusive in the early rounds and turned it up in the championship rounds but his running throughout the fight was simply off putting

I think he's a very good fighter, he beats Lemieux and Saunders, with Charlo, Jacobs and Derevyanchenko giving him serious fits.

 

No actually it was 9-3 Jacobs.. Yeah alrite, I apologize for my rant, I have nothing against you but all the crap that was said over the last year leading up to the fight and it finally happening, I must say it did get the best of me. Not to mention I put an extra 200 on Canelo at +145 odds a few hours before the actual main event, so i was very emotionally invested. My sincere apologies though.

 

It doesn't surprise me to be honest. 60% or so felt Pac beat mayweather as well..

@KiwiMan just confirmed that I was ok with a 114-114 scorecard, I didn't attack anyone for their scores. You on the other hand just said something to the effect of "scoring the fight 8-4 for GGG idiotic". Does your hypocrisy know any boundaries?

I take issue with your use of the word "goon" because I think you're being a goon Yourself. There are indeed craziest GGG fanboys, but some of you haters are just as bad.

 

I'm not over the top in anything I've said leading up to the fight so goon doesn't apply to me.. I stayed with what I've been saying over the last year that Canelo would beat GGG and I felt he won a close fight. Sue me.
