    Holy ****...

I just found 1 $350.00 that appears to be an AMAZING seat.

If he beats Maidana convincingly, he will most likely find it easier to sell 3,000 tickets in Vegas.

Edit: I may have read that wrong...how many seats does it hold?

It's his first time in Vegas and it's coming up to Christmas. Most people don't have the money to fly over there right now.

Comparing him to Hatton is impossible anyway. There has never been a British fighter with a stronger fanbase. There were more fans who travelled to see him, than the arena would hold. Impossible to match. A most realistic comparison would be Calzaghe.

Agreed. And things keep trending toward data and numbers rather than the intangible and unpredictable elements that go into judging a fight.

Yeah the arena will be empty. I think GBP thought that Khan would have a Hatton like fan base, but he doesn't at all. $350 for a ringside ticket is ridiculously cheap.

I wouldn't want HBO to be going on about measured punching power ever round and percentages over the course of the fight each, it gives people another pointless and irrelevant way of arguing about the scoring of fights.

But I think it would be interesting for knockouts, so you can see just how much force was landed in the case of a one-punch knockout, or for a punch that had a fighter seriously hurt or put them down on the canvas.

I hope those in live attendance aren't able to see this along with the judges.

Maidana's done a really **** job of hyping up this fight. Hardly heard a peep from him all winter. Not entirely his fault as he doesn't speak english, but compare it with how Malignaggi was before his fight.

Out of all my friends who claim to follow boxing, I think only one or two knew about this fight before this week.

Shame as this fight really had potential to be big, with Maidana's class and the Argentina-England rivalry.

That's about the only reason I'd want to see it. I don't think it should be used as an influence on scoring, and I hope they don't.
