    HBO boxing is in the toilet who ever is running it needs to get replaced

    Classic HBO.

    GBP tried to push Jazreel Corrlaes. Fought twice in 3 months, lost the second one and is not heard from since.
    Cletus Seldin seemed like a new darling, got brought back the very next month! Lost and was tossed aside.

    And there are plenty of others who have faded away after one loss.
    HBO needs to commit to some of these guys, even if they loose.
    They had a fantastic run with Provodnikov.
    But even then, while still pulling in great numbers, they let him go...


    Most nights it seems like it's just some new face again.

    Bivol has date picked out already, either alvarez or Kovalev could face him I suppose, I'd go the Kovalev route to get the most money out of their guys.

    It's OK everyone, DAZN is replacing HBO anyway. Alvarez v Kovalev can be shown on that you silly sausages

    Bet Duva feels like ****. Kovalev's contract had run out around the time that she backed out of the purse bid she asked for to fight Stevenson. Kovalev could have fought Stevenson on Showtime, PBC or whatever, as his HBO contract was done. She instead had him immediately re-up with HBO, and then said any Stevenson fight could only be on HBO. :lol: Fast forward to the current. Kovalev never got that career defining Stevenson fight. He ended up losing to Ward twice. Then getting KO'd by Alvarez, and discarded by HBO. That is hilarious.

    They keep trying to find and push the next big thing it seems, everything is about up and coming guys they can hype up, as long as he's on a roll so is the hype machine. Once it turns sour they discard them lile trash.

    They aren't even doing that. What young prospects are they pushing? They deserve for their boxing broadcasts to die if they aren't going to put on anything people want to watch.

    They could just not want the specific match up, because they feel Kovalev will lose and they want to have him do a comeback trial, Alvarez vs kovalev didn't do that many more views or ticket sales than kovalev vs B+ fighters. and it sold 5000 tickets.

    they could do more if they do a rematch in quebec
