Why is it one day 1.4MM is getting killed and the next day getting praised?

1.4MM is a great number but still a disappointment for this fight all things being considered.

Floyd was definitely the "A" side vs JMM and Mosley.

But Mosley and JMM deserve as much credit for the succes of those fights
as Floyd gets for the success of DLH/PBF:deal

There can no longer be ANY argument that Pac is as big or a bigger PPV draw than Floyd. There is not a shred of documented evidence that would support such a claim.

It's all related to promotion and advertising.
Both have the hardcore following. It's up to the promoters to get the casual audience.

    GBP totally failed on that.

More money was spent promoting this fight than any fight in history. I can't validate that, but it has been said on many occastions.

Fight was between two longtime rivals, both American. The #2 and #3 P4P fighters in the sport.

If anything, 1.4MM makes me question whether or not Pac/May will be able to beat DLH/May

there was a reason UFC moved there event from may 1st to may 7th. Floyd Mayweather was that reason.
