Estrada is jabbing the body, stretching the left hand in and sloping himself in head & shoulders beneath Mendez's flurries. Estrada is getting spanked above the right hip by a few low-slung hooks, Mendez shrugging his arm down from its socket for extra oomph, but Estrada is rolling with the body shots, twisting & turning before springing up on straightened knees and forcing Mendez to retreat in the face of hooking & uppercutting combos.

Round 6

Estrada is starting to rip into Mendez now with savage combinations to head and body, primarily favoring the latter, sometimes plugging upwards of half a dozen unanswered blows at once. Mendez is starting to wilt under the pressure but is still roping out shots into the face even as Estrada marches him across the ring. Mendez hanging in there, refusing to run or clinch, but getting outfought every second. Estrada beginning to smell blood in the water and putting extra starch on his body combos, hammering away on Mendez's sides as he curls into a ball against the ropes.

Estrada is bouncing his fists off Mendez's face at medium-close range. Estrada is jabbing, scoring, wending his way inside, slipping & countering with combos. Mendez is totally stumped as to how to solve the El Gallo puzzle, and is taking a bruising, yet refuses to give up trying. Estrada sort of going easy on his old friend, it seems - but not too easy. Still clanging him pretty hard in multiples on the body. Mendez to his credit takes it all without going down, and keeps firing back.

Brækhus is trading jabs with Magdziak Lopes, and controlling the distance, standing directly in front of her, a couple of paces off. Quick left hook on the face by the champ as Magdziak Lopes over-commits with a body jab. Both are sort of pecking high & low with the jab, neither getting through all that cleanly.

Brækhus is turning Magdziak Lopes and doubling jabs into her face, grazing the chin or coming up short. Magdziak Lopes tries a straight right downstairs but it skims off the waistband, partially caught with the back of Brækhus' glove. Huge left hook turned over, Brækhus just narrowly missing as Magdziak Lopes sways outside. Jab and chopping right from Brækhus land as Magdziak Lopes attempts the same defensive maneuver but on this execution isn't quick enough.
