The Martinez-Cintron draw, that was a robbery.

This was a close fight which arguably Funeka might've won clear minus the knockdowns...Nate took it officially, perhaps technically he oughtn't have, but it wasn't a robbery, and certainly not anywhere near the level of the co-featured bout. On a night when some bull**** like that goes down you don't water down the severity of it by calling a MUCH closer fight a robbery.

 

He knocked out Raheem. For that, I love em.

 

Martinez put on a clinic. He should of won that fight by KO. The ref was still counting and Kermit the Frog didn't get up.

 

You can't get knocked down twice and cry robbery. I think suffered he from the JMM complex. He likely WON the fight on the cards but lost it on points and THAT is what decides things.

 

Not taking anything away from Ali, never heard of him and I am impressed to say he least. That said the best he could do is a draw, no way in hell he won that fight.

 

The ref only let that fight continue because Cintron starting bitching like a schoolgirl. He knew he didn't get headbutted.. He knows the difference between skin and a glove.

When you're down and the ref is counting to 10 right in front of you.. You get the **** up you don't rise up at 9. Headbutt or not.

i know, we have to come to terms with the cintron-martinnez fight before the main cared. Man that was a some f'd up scoring. Im pissed!!

 

Exactly, the ref probably didnt feel like seeing Cintron crying on national TV again.

Draw is cool, But i felt and saw that Ali was beating him to the jabs in majority of the rounds. If those 2 Knock downs canceled all of that, then rematch should be graced.

I enjoyed this card, fun, controversial and mindboggling.

I could watch a rematch for sure.

Funeka will be tough to beat at lightweight.

I'm guessing after tonight no one is gonna want to fight him.

He really did need the win to force their hands.
