Friggin' A refs call fights WAY too quickly these days. And those whiners at HBO should STFU

Ya know who Angulo reminds me of a bit? Miguel Cotto.

Slow but very precise, strong enough to do brutal damage but not strong enough to KO people cleanly. Great composure especially under pressure. Questionable chin and there's been little testing in terms of stamina. I think there are some very valid comparisons.

How awesome would that have been if it was Mayorga in there?

And how stupid is that neck brace?

Good win by Angulo. Got hit a little too much but Rivera is an experienced fighter with descent skills. He just cant win in 4 days notice. Especially at that weight.

Well, he almost went the distance with Tsurkan and threw over 1200 punches. I'd say based on that he's got good stamina, but that's yet to factor in being hit the entire time. Tsurkan didn't really take much out of him with his punches.

I'm not disagreeing with them, I'm just drawing back to Angulo-Tsurkan where Lampley was basically crying for the fight to be stopped. I'm all for compassion for fighters but...come on now fellas.

Rivera showed some heart, even though, he was taking a beating.

I guess the ref was looking to get Rivera killed. Anyway, I still have not been impressed by Angulo yet. Kirland stops him if they fight.
