Once again shows you that Arum is full of **** and inflates PPV numbers.:deal With that said those are horrible numbers and not good for the sport.
Floyd will fight Pacquiao, but that 50/50 split is never going to happen. At this point, I don't know if I would give him 40/60. Maybe if he accepted no PPV money. Mayweather's in the driver's seat, like he's always been. After Khan, he can fight Garcia, should he remain undefeated. By late next year, Garcia might have already taken Matthysse's IBF belt that Peterson is carrying around.
Showtime could careless about their Contract with Floyd!!! For the last time Floyd Contract is with CBS.....CBS wants Showtime to be bigger than HBO!!! CBS is worth over 100 Billion dude!!! and they are the biggest Network in America!! As long as they have the face of Boxing on their network its a Win!!! http://www.istockanalyst.com/finance/story/6572488/floyd-mayweather-jr-helps-cbs-corporation-cbs-make-that-money CBS Stock are thru the roof since they signed Floyd...:hi: What "CBS"not Showtime is paying him is Peanuts compare to what they are making because of him and GBP. Like I said bro I argue with facts not made up ****!!!! Floyd Contract is Like Giving Barry Bonds 300 million his team might not win the world series But he will put fans in the seats...and your team will always be talked about!!! was showtime being talked about before GBP and TMT went there??
Are you talking about the China that said, "GTFO, nobody buy your PPV!". The same China who supposedly spent 30M (your number) to host and promote this fight and all they got was some racist tirade by Roach to show for it? China shattered Pacquiao. Good luck bargaining with Floyd now. The list grows of people who have KOd Pacquiao: Singsurat Torrecampo JMM China
PPV should be divided equally among all the fighters participating in the event and not the main bout fighters alone. Without the supporting bouts then the event fails. Fighters already have guaranteed purses based on their standing in the boxing world. This will make more championship fights which is money's worth for the paying fans and so everybody will be happy and not just the greedy few.
He was 25k off with the low end of his estimated range, proposing it might be as much as 75k more than it was.
Thats a very noble thought. Fail. Divided equally? What socialist country did you come from. This is America and it thrives on capitalism. Those fighters you speak of are fight on PPV because of the headline fight or they wouldn't be on PPV. Until they are proven and can support their own PPV card they should be paid as they would on any other night they fight. There is no direct correlation to the non-main event fighters and the success of the PPV. You can go by ratings I guess, but even then it would be very hard to prove that those bouts specifically played a role in purchases. Fighters are paid upon what they garner in popularity, championships and viewership. Garcia made 1.5 million for not being in the main event because his popularity supports it. As done Broner. To sum it up, you have posted a terrible idea.
arent you the guy that said pac got 200k from floyd settling his case? did you find your source if i say a ***** has a mental capacity of a ******, the ****** would be insulted.
is it me or the *****s are really dumb. this article; from an unknown stocks firm, written by a wannabe stocks analyst, has hype writtern all over it. it is like being written by a fanboy or someone who would want to fool the fanboys to buy the stock. i doubt floyd is signed directly to cbs, but moer likely signed to showtime whose parent company is cbs. how the hell the writer attributed the 18% increase in affilliate/subscription is down to boxing or even to mayweather signing itself. showtime is only part of cbs, and boxing is only part of showtime's, and obviously floyd's as one of the boxing shows. so 18pct could be down to movies and or tv shows (i.e. *** and the city), and/or sports (boxing is being one). so if cbs is 100%, showtime being 10% of cbs, and sports being 10% of showtime and boxing being 10% of sports, and floyd being 50pct of boxing (to be generous). here you will have a rough idea of floyd's impact on cbs's bottomline. to attribute 18pct growth in affilliate/subscription to floyd's signing is fanboyism at its best, or worst i must say. it is not even clear if the affilliate/subscription business = showtime itself. there could be others. the whole 18pct increase could be down to a superbowl or major league series or a new season of a popular tv show. it could be anything or combination of many things, floyd's signing included. or just a case of " i have a bridge that i like to sell..." to stupid fanboys like you. also, where did you get your 100b+ whatever? are you talking about market cap? networth? or is this another case of running google and run "pac's settlement money is only 200k", because that is what you read in the internet? i think you get punched in the face too much for too long time.hi::good and umm, barry bond's team play full season, so the impact is so much greater. and baseball vs. boxing, really? edit2: if you make an earnings estimate for cbs or any other company based on what the company reported or earnings guidance provided, you always have a margin of erro, mostly 1or 2pct. floyd's impact is less than the margin of error lol. if cbs is a car, floyd could be the car radio lol. iStock has to do a little connecting the dots here, so stay with us. Maywether's last fight was with Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero was available to homes at $59.99 in standard definition and $69.99 for HD. In CBS' most recent 10-Q, the company wrote this, "as well as an 18% increase in affiliate and subscription fee revenues," and "For the remainder of 2013 the Company expects to benefit from continued growth in affiliate and subscription fee revenues." We believe line one was driven by the Guerrero fight and line two in anticipation of the Canelo fight. Again, let's work backwards. According to Showtime, the Mayweather v. Guerrero fight garnered slightly more than 1 million pay-per-view purchases. We've seen other estimates at 875,000. Either way, the numbers closely align with the difference between 2012's affiliate and subscription fees of $465 million compared to 2013's $549 million considering the $59.99 and $69.99 fees.
Holy ****. LanceUppercut? How you doing Lance? Man you fell off the map for a while but with your post I have noticed that this is you. hi::hi:
