Good point. Clearly that was the case here. I had Gonzalez winning decisively by 2 rounds.

 

I went in rooting for Pascal, thought he would dominate this fight, but he did not deserve to win this fight. Hbo knew it, the crowd on the scene knew it.

At BEST, Pascal could have gotten a draw. Gonzalez could have won that 7-3. Pascal got pushed around and ate a ****e ton of leather. He evened things up somewhat in the 2nd half, but he should have been solidly behind going into it.

 

I wonder if Kovalev will look off tonight. I think the Pascal vs Kovalev fight was brutal for both fighters.

They might have left something in the ring that night.

I've never seen Mohammad fight, but is there any chance for an upset?

yup. Pascal was picking his shots well and fighting great off the backfoot. He rocked Gonzalez a lot it was a very close fire fight. A draw or Pascal winning by a point is no robbery

 

Pascal is a gun slinger, and he's very athletic, but he doesn't know how to box. You have to pick and choose your battles.

You don't stand in front of a guy like that.
