Open his man up for what?

Open his man up to duck and throw a left hook and knock Kovalev the **** out???

Because that's what's going to happen.

Or even worse, he fights Stevenson, and Stevenson throws a southpaw left hook.

He does that, Kovalev might be out right then and there.

It's a bad habit. If you're fighting a guy and you keep your right hand down, your damn CHIN shouldn't be sticking straight up in the air like Kovalev's often is.

It's a bad habit and it's going to cost him.

Well, that was a terrible mismatch.

Kovalev obviously hits hard; the bum was flinching every time Kovalev feinted.

But still, what a mismatch. That guy had a glass nose.

The fact that Hopkins took him the distance at 48 shows what a great athlete he is. Kovalev is on a rampage.

Kovalev is such a boss, hard to not like this guy. He's just a total package.

This question gets asked every time a big puncher goes up against a boxer with little power. It's used to get the other guy to commit and give openings. He won't do that sht against stevenson

Being sloppy against Mohammedi was fine by me. He needs to KO a guy like this and not play around trying to box. There was no need for that tonight.

    No, it's not.

Please explain to me how it benefits a fighter to walk in with their chin straight up and their right hand low.

    Please, explain Dr. Boxing.

    I'd like to know.

ok so for example i like to switch to a high guard bob an weave a little bit to show an opening for a jab down the pipe, as they throw it i bring my right hand in to catch the jab as i throw my own

it almost always has success until my opponent catches on

If you're going to keep your right hand down in any scenario, you better not be straight up and down, you better be fighting on the outside, and your chin should be glued to your damn chest.

If those don't apply, KEEP your right hand up.
