Max Kellerman, Roy Jones, and Gus Johnson would be perfect. Johnson calls the action better than emotional ***** Lampley. Jones gives great boxing insight. And Kellerman is great at doing a Merchant imitation and pissing people off
The Ghost would land four or five straight body shots and all the HBO crew wanted to talk about was the big punch that Berto missed
Good call man. my dream crew would be Larry, Mike Tyson, Brother Nazim and Ann Wolf. Tyson and Brother Nazim would keep it real every fight and they are really knowledgeable
The HBO crew (especially Lampley) always has a lot of talking point prepared before the fight, based on the fighters' past. It basically forms a script to how the fight will likely play out. Too much time is spent on that script and not enough attention is being paid to what is happening in the ring.
Hey, Yall remember when that ***** ass MAx, interviewed Mayweather after the Marquez fight. That is when they should of fired him!!! He let Mosley get in the ring and have the mic and when Floyd start talking Max got made and ended the interview like a little *****. Saddest moment in post fight interviews!!
Kellerman is the reason I've always wanted James Tony to make it back to the top. If Jame's made it back, he fights on HBO. If he fights on HBO, Kellerman interviews him. If Kellerman interviews Tony, Kellerman says something crazy, and James . . . . Well, you know:yep
I watched the British version of Ward/Froch with Jim Watt and that other guy (Bunce?) One guy called the action for each fighter as it happened, and they did not interject much opinion. They **** all over anything I've seen on HBO, Showtime, or ESPN in recent years.
