HBO & Showtime need to stop showing hype jobs with glass jaws & show the Flyweights

Segura has been among the very most exciting in the sport since his FOTY KO over the legendary Ivan Calderon.

Akira Yaegashi, Juan Francisco Estrada, and Roman Gonzalez are the shining lights of the epic division. These guys represent a legit elite tier of the division in addition to the amazing supporting top 10 around them (I do note that Roman actually hasn't accomplished anything and perhaps doesn't even deserve to be ranked at all here).

Moruti Mthalane is a great lesser known Flyweight.

Amnat Ruenrong gets a shout after winning the vacant title and then taking a decision over Kazuto Ioka in his first defense.

Speaking of him, you know Ioka will be back in the fold at some point in not too long; vacant, interim, or a legit challenge for a title.

Brian Viloria and Hernan Marquez are the exciting established guys, lurking... ready to either be a good scalp on someone else's resume or to reestablish themselves toward the very top of the division.

It's sad because you could actually get a tournament between top 10 Flyweights for the price of some of the useless and wasted opening showcase slots from most HBO/Showtime telecasts.

Donaire gets good airtime, so does Mikey Garcia and they're in the smaller weight classes.

Loma and Russell are going to get a lot of hype for their fight.

 

Alexander, Pavlik have glass chins, One got dropped from a combination of flush Power punches, one got put down via flash KD vs a Puncher.

Tarver, Taylor, Pavlik, Dirrell, Jones, probably Ortiz, may not even fight again... why talk about them

 

Porter and Thurman are not only capable of beating Khan......both guy are more than capable of actually killing Khan.

Tarver - undisputed LHW champ
Taylor - Undisputed MW champ
Ortiz - one of the most exciting fighters recently, WBC champ

Stylistically Khan matches up bad vs Porter, Thurman.

Khan has a better chance (little) vs Mayweather at this point vs either of those 2, all though thurman keeps improving and Porter would be tough if Floyd starts to age
