Good move nobody wants to see Cotto-Mayorga. It's Arum's fault anywy for giving us bull**** fights that no one wants. HBO is sick of it and I don't blame them. They want some return on their investment for all these years and Arum isn't giving it to them.

Arum made HBO/Time Warner millions of dollars last year with Pacquiao alone, and gave them their highest rating of the year with Foreman-Cotto. So they've gotten more bang for their buck from Top Rank than any other company in the past year. So how exactly is it a good move to burn bridges with a company who has generated major revenue and good ratings for your company, and at the same time throw away million dollar license fees for mismatches featuring fighters who generate little interest and no money. :huh

HBO should be more selective about what they pay for. I think we can all agree on that. But they should be as equally strict with one promotional company as they are with the next.

HBO needs to punnish Arum until he stops blcoking Mayweather-Pacquaio and stops keeping every fight in house. Arum can **** off to Showtime and make 60% of what he was making with HBO

Look at Tyson fights in the 90s.

    Tyson Ruddock
    Tyson McNeeley
    Tyson Bruno
    Tyson Holyfield I
    Tyson Holyfield II

each of them topped 1 million buys.

Hmm you lived in Vlaardingen Netherlands or are you just mixing stories? 43 year-old Ronald Sylvester of the small Dutch fishing village of Vlaardingen did flay and wear his mother's skin during at a carnival celebration but he was not homeless. In fact, he was a computer programmer and long time member of a crazy religious cult. He did not get jail time but is now undergoing psychiatric treatment.

31-year-old actor Michael Brea hacked-up and decapitated his mother with a "Freemason ceremonial sword" and as he pursued her, he began shouting both biblical and Free masonry texts such “Supreme Being as "the Grand Architect of the Universe." Repent, repent” He is now undergoing psychiatric evaluation

Neither had any history of mental illness or criminal record and neither were homeless. Both were successful and well liked. Both do seem to be members of crazy cults. Yet to play the new radical liberal blame game, you try to heap believers like them with the backbone of humanity. I am sure you will also want these two wackos to be psychologically rehabilitated for society but outlaw all knives as evil but that is really just projecting your own evil motives IMO

HBO is ****ing dumb. Cotto vs Vanes is a hell of a fight

I would've loved to see that fight. 1.5 million is dirt cheap for that kind of fight.

With guys like Bute, Ward, Froch, Pascal, Donaire, Bute, Kessler, Abraham, Montiel, Cotto, Pac, Vanes, Hopkins, Marquez, Vasquez, Darchinyan, Marez, and much more fighting on Showtime, HBO is kissing the canvass here.

Showtime has a better broadcast team than HBO right now. I'd love to see Tarver ringside at Pac vs Mosley

Mike Tyson fights. His one against Lennox was a co-promote by HBO/Showtime. they had The Buff AND Jimmy Lennon Jr as ring announcers on separate sides of the ring.
