Arroyo is underrated. Very solid fighter, as I've remarked on these pages before. Not to mention we're only a round deep.

10-9 Arroyo. He seems to have carried his power up to 115lbs.

Arroyo is puerto rican, but I'd swear he's mexican just watching at his boxing. He has an obsession with this oponent's live. Plus, he has a big pair of balls. That's good.

First-ballot HOF in my opinion (but not holding my breath for the voting body to do the right thing, considering guys like Donald Curry still aren't in)

Maybe lacking that defining moment to be ATG.

That's open to controversy, though - because many would consider Wladimir Klitschko a surefire ATG, but he's lacking a single victory that is p4p greater than any single victory of Nietes. He's another guy whose claim to greatness is largely based on longevity and excellent h2h form while eliminating a slew of B+ opposition.

Do Arroyo’s gloves look/sound weird to anyone else?

Damn, that was on its way to being another round for Arroyo but Cuadras absolutely cleaned his clock with that overhand right!! Watch for the finish... edit: nah, too little time left in the second. Let's see if McWilliams can recover his full senses on his stool.

    Round 1 Arroyo 10-9
    Round 2 Cuadas 10-9

Good bounce back round, Cuadras found his range and tightened up his defense, landed a massive right hook late that shook up Arroyo and another left hook at the bell.

19-19, can't in good conscience give Arroyo the 2nd, loathe though I am to ignore two minutes plus of superior work, he was just TOO badly rocked at the end.

Cuadras can't keep going to the well. Hard fights with Eto, Gonzalez, Carmona and Estrada in the last 3 years...

    EDIT:
And that's ignoring his bout with Srisaket in 2014
