Another disgusting robbery. Some of you guys have a bad habit of seeing punches thrown and automatically counting them as landing. Boxing is scored by punches landed not by punches thrown. I have not heard one mention of the inaccuracy of SR punches. Estrada threw 200 less punches but still landed more. SR flayed away fairly consistently all night but got through with very few decent shots. He did land better to the body than Estrada but the only rds he won were the ones where Estrada didn't do much.

Tete is six inches taller than him with four inches more reach. He just needs a decent jab and he won't have to leave his stool to punch Rungvisai in the mouth from across the ring.

You were right about Rungvisai vs Estrada CST. Good job. I think I lost all of my picks on todays fights.

Look at our resident cuck proving that he DKSAB once again.

It was a close fight, but clear SSR win.

I finished watching the fight right now. Fell asleep last night. Had no clue about the winner before watching it.

    My scorecard:

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai vs. Juan Francisco Estrada
    R1: 9-10
    R2: 9-10
    R3: 10-9
    R4: 10-9
    R5: 10-9
    R6: 10-9
    R7: 9-9
    R8: 9-9
    R9: 9-10
    R10: 10-9
    R11: 9-10
    R12: 9-10

    113-113

What great fight. Very close. Both 9-9 rounds could be scored either way so prob 115-113/113-115 is also fine.

117-111 is simply a joke. Do not know what the guy smoked or drunk before the fight but he should be hammered for this.

If Rungvisai took hits from Tete or Inoue, he'd be out cold.

Exactly. He'd take a serious pounding similar to what Golovkin did to Ouma.

On rewatching, well, I'm no less confident in my 8-4 Estrada score. Estrada was the cleaner, more accurate, more thoughtful puncher throughout. SSR might land with enough power to have Estrada wary in spots, but he rarely took control of the action doing so. Estrada would over and over respond to SSR's attack with left hook counters then move to the side. I was on reviewing even more impressed with SSR's technical and defensive improvements. He outboxed not just overpowered Estrada in the 5th and 6th. He's no defenceless brawler. But essentially around the 8th when Estrada adjusted to SSR's adjustments Estrada gained control, and didn't let SSR take the initiative back. And with his dominant 12 should've won.

The 10th was so close that I don't have a problem with it going to SSR, and the 4th was also close. But when a round is close in clean, impactful punches landed, I'm siding with the cleaner, classic 'boxing' of Estrada. The 1st and 11th weren't so decisive Estrada rounds, but I really think it's reaching and favouring ineffective punching to call them for SSR. I don't care if you gave SSR 5 or even 6 rounds, but he did not win more than that and win the fight.
