The Dark Knight is such an over-rated movie. What's with that stupid Batman voice?
I miss Val Kilmer as Batman.

Never thought I'd see the day people would willingly want to see Ivan Calderon fight.

You also have to take into consideration that they have to agree to buy the rights to show the fight. That's why Golota vs Kevin McBride wasn't shown on Showtime when Peter took on McCline. King wanted a really high amount of money to showcase the fight.

Right. The onus is on Arum for not giving us a more competitive fight to couple with Cotto/Clottey.

One thing I WILL be disappointed about is if HBO and Arum don't come to some sort of agreement on showing footage of Korobov from the undercard. The guy is a beast.

Real boxing fans can appreciate the boxing genius Calderon is. Plus, the guy has been an undefeated champion since 2003. I think he deserves to be in HBO

He didn't rip Calderon. He put it pretty plainly. People would call him boring and bash the fight. Also since when has HBO shown a fight at a weight THAT low?

Clottey vs Cotto will be high action....for the televised audience to have to sit through Calderon (a fighter who while superb is a boring fighter) and somehow maintain their interest long enough to get to Cotto vs Clottey might not be a risk HBO is willing to take. On top of that, They might not have been able to reach a financial middle ground with The Bobfather.
