Let's not slight Calderon. He's a tremendous fighter.

That said for your live audience to go in expected to get what we'll get with Clottey vs Cotto (an outstanding fight) and be greeted by Jose Calderon fighting a relatively boring fight, it could sap your audience right there.

well i agree he is an amazing technical fighter but i can see why hbo didint pick it up. thats some super lightweight action. cotto is the highlight of the evening. so i cant be mad at hbo about that

That's messed up and all but nothing is worse than getting home grabbing a couple of cold one's from the fridge sitting down on a comfy leather couch turning on your TV set and seeing this image on your screen.

Dark Knight shits all over this fight man. And this is coming from an obsessive boxing fan (I will be at MSG for this fight).

Take a look at Mayol's record, and take a look at Calderon's last fight. Can't blame HBO

HBO was foolishly enough to not show Vitali/Peter fight for boxing history! At least Showtime showed the fight, but HBO tried to get the fight after Showtime took it. LOL! Look at some of the boring fights HBO has shown.

Roid Jones vs. Postal worker, garbageman, janitor, alcholic, etc. How about that?

Jones said he wanted to fight Vitali or Vlad by he back out rather quickly. Mismatch. Klitschkos sell out, Void does not. MSG, New York, Vitali sold out when he fought Atlas' fighter Kirk Johnson, during a huge snow storm.
