As long as they show this fight on TV of any sort, I'll be happy. I think it's going to be a very interesting fight. I am hoping Chambers is going to put some hurt on Wlad. I expect him to fight like a more offensive Calvin Brock, who had Wlad perplexed for the first 5 rounds of their fight.
Oh yes many professional journalists and expert boxing analysts have referred to the Heavyweight Champion Klitschko brothers as the "Clitoris Sisters"atsch Simply stating, you have decades of growing up to do atsch
you should... its amazing.... if you do, let me know... I have met several ESB posters at Wlad fights:good:good
haha, good stuff! ring magazine did an awesome article about the atmosphere and passion towards boxing over there...i read that and was hooked. failing that, i'm hoping we get a wlad fight in LA or Vegas sometime (a long shot i know but i can dream)
dont like to look ahead to much as Chambers is #1 right now for team Klitschko... there has been some talk about Povetkin in NY or LA... Ill let you know:good:good
:huh Not sure I understand your response. Names get spelled phonetically for foreign audiences and it can come out looking strange to the native speaker. I was referring to the poster who called the "Klychko" Bros as "Klitoris Sisters" and then tried to equate that with professional journalisim :-( I think it's better to have the fights shown on any version of ESPN where it will attract a larger audience of casual fans. People who pay extra for HBO tend to be the more hard core fans and it doesn't broaden the fan base any IMO.
Name me another European fighter who has been big in the States? Calzaghe? Nope. He was a nobody for 9 years and most of his fights did not appear on US television? Haye? Nope. He's been on the tube in the US exactly once. WHo else you go? Benn and Frank Bruno were probably the two biggest to cross over, and even they weren't that big. Lennox Lewis. He was never popular with US fans. His big fights were all against faded champions with names. However, most of his fights did air on HBO.
I think you've had too much Shati. That fight was not boring. It wasn't exactly a barn burner, but it was far from boring. There was a knock down of a man who had never been down and their likely would have been a knock out if Chagaev hand't've quit on his stool.
I think most of the Wlad haters are missing the point. THis is a legitimate fight. It is the number one heavyweight in the world taking on a number one contender. The fact that major network pass on these fights doesn't just hurt the Klitschkos, it hurts boxing in general. After all, when a network passes on these fights they are more likely to pass on similiar fights in the future.
