Boo, calm down, man! It was a great tribute to all 3 men. And by showing someone as well liked as Arguello was taking it on the chin from Pryor is what really made the quotes by his son that much more powerful. I cried when Pryor beat him many moons ago & I cried watching it again last night, re-living that aweful moment. When his son said it was like Superman crying on his shoulder, I really lost it.

You'll never cancel your HBO. Your a fight fan. HBO did it right. They knew what they were doing.

    :good

This isn't about you, you ****en moron lol... This is why boxing has a fraternity that fans could never enter. If Brad were to say this shite in front of boxer...s they'd **** on him. You will never enter the world of boxers...ever!!! You **** on a tribute to a man everyone knew who had a chance to win a fourth title and who was trying to achieve ring immortality, and when he falls short, without evidence, ("the other one, the one I mixed") you make it about YOU and "fuk HBO"! Who the fuk cares if you drop HBO. You aren't dropping HBO you phony ass fuk because youe hero Pavlik will be fighting on HBO. Phony ass...

Everyone here just about shed a tear, and the son of Arguello spoke from the heart, and you're screaming...fuk HBO...fuk HBO lol... ****.

You have no idea how pissed I get when people continue to treat Arguello like the only thing he ever did was lose to Panama Lewis' criminal ways!

Dude, it's the past, just get over it, Alexis got over it and he moved on with his life!

Arguello just thanked Pryor for the wonderful fights he'd gave him in the aftermath of the rematch. :good

He even shook his hand at the end.

But this segment didn't do that. It showed clips of his wins in the Escalera rematch, Rooney, Mancini, and mentioned him winning world titles in 3 weight divisions when there were less belts around.

As much as I knock Legendary Nights for the myths it helped create, that didn't make Arguello look like just a loser to Pryor either. They showed and talked about some of his victories.

Plus they then could parallel Pryor/Arguello with Ward/Gatti in two rivalries that resulted in friendships.

Excellent tribute. Three warriors with good hearts and good intentions.

What Arguellos son said killed me inside. Very strong words from him. Especially what he said about Alexis crying on his shoulder and him being Superman in his eyes.

    I hear you brother.

During that piece, and I'm talking about the part where Arguello's son mentioned that his dad started to come back on the middle rounds as is his custom.......
..."but things happen!"....... when I heard that, it hit me that Arguello's son knows that Pryor cheated his dad........but the kid is an "Arguello", he got it from his dad not to disrespect and hold things against people.
    To forgive......

.......but you're absolutely right my friend, HBO should have never highlighted the Pryor fight and shown Arguello being stopped in a fight where Pryor cheated, in what was supposed to have been a tribute to him......

The words of Arguello's son depicting the scene at the dressing room were more than enough for me to describe Arguello the fighter, the Dad, and the Man.

I was a huge Arguello fan. Its the reason why I'm a big boxing fan today.......and I was absolutely gutted but yet prideful of hearing Arguello's son describe his dad.

Sorry to say that "I"m not as forgetful or have the class to forgive as easily as an "Arguello.":fire

    It just hurts my brother!
