Yup. Got caught with a nasty counter-left-hook in the third round (defence was too low / slow). Fought back brilliantly, though, in the very same round. I still gave it 10-8 to Kats (as protocol demands) but nearly toned it down on the basis of the way Marquez responded.

It's a good fight: Marquez just about held the edge most of the way, with Kats being an ever-present danger. One of those where they both came out with their reputations enhanced.

 

Larry Merchant needs to retire. I love watching him but ...really, what the ****...asking a guy who just got stopped if his recently deceased brother would be proud of him? I'm certain he didn't mean it the way it sounded but what a horribly dumb**** awful thing to pop out of your ****ing mouth.
